Ben Brako

Ben Brako is synonymous with contemporary High-Life music in Ghana and worldwide. He is revered as a legend of Highlife music. He was one of the first teenage popstars in Ghana.

Whilst at the University of Ghana he was actively involved in music and founded a group called “AgorombaGudoReba” to test his compositions. 

He turned professional in 1986 and released his first album “BAYA” in 1987, a massive hit that established him as an icon of Highlife music. He has numerous awards and is adored and respected in by African music lovers worldwide.
